Re: Wizkid Defiled Linda Ikeji’s Photos by Nobody: 1:21am On Apr 04, 2016 This simply means Wizkid can’t live in the UK or US. Because if he lived in any, more dirt on him would have been dug and there’s nothing he can do about it, especially as the dirt is true.
He’s in Naija that’s why he can do this.

Linda woulda sued his ass and cleared his accounts if this thing happened in the US or UK.
He’s lucky it’s Nigeria.

He’s so childish and uncivilised. Smh!

In 2010, Wizkid began recording his debut studio album Superstar (2011). On 2 January 2010, he released “Holla at Your Boy (sometimes stylized as Holla @ Ur Boi)” as the album’s lead single.[14] The song won the Next Rated category and was nominated for Best Pop Single at The Headies 2011.[15] The music video for “Holla at Your Boy” was nominated for Most Gifted Newcomer Video at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards.[16] The music video was also nominated for Best Afro Pop Video at the 2011 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA).[17] On 2 April 2010, Wizkid released “Tease Me/Bad Guys” as the album’s second single; it was initially released as a freestyle.[18] “Don’t Dull”, the album’s third single, was released on 6 December 2010.[19]

The album, recorded in English and Yoruba, was released on 12 June 2011 by Empire Mates Entertainment. It incorporates elements of R&B, dancehall, and reggae. Wizkid collaborated with a wide range of music producers, including E-Kelly, Jay Sleek, Shizzi, DJ Klem, Sunny Nweke, Q-Beats and Samklef. The album features guest appearances from Banky W., Skales, D’Prince and Wande Coal. It was initially scheduled for release on 14 February 2011, but was later pushed back. On 12 June 2011, Wizkid hosted an album launch party at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites. The album’s launch party featured performances from Banky W, Skales, 2face Idibia, Samklef, Wande Coal, D’Prince, Olamide, eLDee, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Lynxxx and Seyi Shay.[20] Superstar garnered Best Album of the Year at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and was nominated for Album of the Year at The Headies 2012.[21]

World tours and notable performances[edit]
After releasing their compilation album Empire Mates State of Mind, EME acts toured the United States. The tour kicked off on 4 July 2012 and ended on 2 September 2012. EME acts performed in several different cities, including Houston, Dallas, Toronto, Vancouver, New York City, Providence, Calgary, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Chicago.[41][42] Wizkid toured London in 2012 and performed at the HMV Apollo on 4 June 2012.[43] On 12 November 2012, he performed at the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live 02 Academy in Brixton alongside Trey Songz, Tulisa, Kendrick Lamar and Angel.[44] On 17 October 2013, Wizkid performed at the 2013 edition of Felabration, a yearly concert dedicated to the late Fela Kuti.[45] On 2 November 2013, he performed at the Guinness Colorful World of More concert alongside D’banj, Tiwa Savage, P-Square, Davido, Ice Prince, Burna Boy, Olamide and Phyno, among others. The concert took place at the Eko Convention Centre of the Eko Hotels and Suites.[46] On 23 November 2013, Wizkid performed at the Guinness Big Eruption Concert.[47] Wizkid was invited as a special guest for some shows in Tinie Tempah’s tour of the UK in 2014.[48]

Endorsements[edit]
In 2012, Wizkid signed a one-year endorsement deal with Pepsi allegedly worth 350,000 U.S dollars.[49] He travelled to Beirut, Lebanon with Tiwa Savage for a Pepsi commercial shoot.[50][51] On 28 May 2013, Premium Times reported that Wizkid signed a one-year deal with MTN Nigeria. Moreover, the news source reported that Wizzy’s Pepsi contract was renewed for another two years.[52][53] On 23 October 2013, Bellanaija reported that Wizkid signed an endorsement deal with Guinness for the “Guinness World of More” concert. The concert was held at the Eko Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos on 3 November 2013.[54][55] On 18 June 2015, Pulse reported that Wizkid ditched MTN and signed a ₦128 million naira deal with GLO.[56]

Car accident and Porsche acquisition[edit]
On 15 June 2013, Wizkid was involved in a non-life-threatening car accident along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lekki, Lagos. According to an article posted on Silverbird Television, Wizkid was hospitalised for a minor concussion resulting from the wreck.[79] According to eyewitness reports compiled by MTV Base, Wizkid’s Porsche Panamera was spotted speeding down the road; the car’s front tires blew out and resulted in the driver of the vehicle losing control and crashing into a road barrier.[80] Eyewitness reports also added that the car’s airbag suspension system deployed on impact, shielding Wizkid and the driver instantaneously.[81] At the time of the incident, Wizkid and other passengers in the car were returning from the Soundcity Nokia LumiaBeat Party. The accident allegedly occurred around 3:30am in front of the GET Arena.[82] As a result of the wreck, the car was badly damaged. Pictures of the damaged vehicle surfaced on Instagram and Facebook. Vanguard reported that Wizkid acquired a Porsche Cayenne two weeks after the accident. He posted pictures of his new acquisition onto his Instagram page and tagged the pictures with the caption “#Blessed”

What I find funny in all of these is Linda is writing from her mansion in banana island while WizKID is somewhere in Surulere trying to figure out how to get a new apt.

Linda should leave the KID alone to focus on his hustle, Abu na only she wan get house for banana island?

When she was writing about his latest “acquisitions” did he complain? When she wrote great reviews about his shows, awards and stuff did he tell her to mind her biz? Her puzzy was minty fresh then. Its now that the guy is seemingly in the news for more bad than good that his fans are asking Linda to mind her biz. Agreed she too do. But that’s what drives traffic to her blog. Wizkid is not the first celebrity to rent an apartment or take a car lease and he will not be the last. So, rather than using smelly puzzy insult to denigrate her (which I think is lame BTW), yhu either refute the claims made by her or yhu dig up her own dirt and use it against her kpichikom. Cause I see more dirt being dug up by Linda on Wizkid’s matter. She’s a kinda journalist and leave fanbase matter, Linda has more access to information than Wizkid.

I don’t blame all y’all calling wizkid a child. If na Yankee or developed countries and you publish an unverified and false story na class action defamation lawsuit wey go bankrupt you be your case.

The girl is driving traffic to her blog by smearing the image of others. Image means a lot to a musician or other entertainers. Like na developed country she go don dey court dey defend herself. When jury or judge order her to pay 100million in damages for one story, she go hear am.
I am a lawyer. Lemme educate u.

If her story is false, wiz has a gud ground to sue.
But obviously, it’s true. ‘truth or justification’ is a defence in a libel/defamation action.

Wiz’s allegation on the other hand…may not be verifiable and can expose him to an action.

The law here on defamation is substantially same as that of other countries…

Imagine TMZ getting this kind of attention for reporting unflattering news about Bieber! Even that child knows: if it’s libel, you sue. If it’s true, leave it alone until it’s yesterday’s news. It’s their job to tell stories; acting like an a$$ only gives them more material.

The kids are taking sides with wizKID and the more matured are with Linda. The dirty language this boy is using on social media is uncalled for. Someone needs to caution that kid. Linda is a blogger doing her job ,trying to do what she loves best and I don’t think her response was an insult. She only told us about your lies that is if they were truly lies cos I think you are way too rich to pay off the said apartment. But all the the same, you can decide to reply in a more matured manner instead of showing the world that you are truly a kid. On this day,I concluded that wizKID is still a kid.

Her blog began when she had just finished school with no further ideas about what career path to take until she discovered blogging.
Popular celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, is as sizzling as the posts on her blog. Her contents and remarks generate wide interest. Her posts and comments around her pregnancy and supposed baby daddy are generating more controversy in the social media than she would have wished while new angles to it are developing everyday, writes Ferdinand Ekechukwu

I It is not everything about Linda Ikeji that matters. Definitely not … Let’s say all remarks by the celebrity blogger generate interest. Following the recent revelation that her soon to be baby daddy is from Itsekiri, die hard followers of the sensational brand and keen observers of the former model, as usual, stoked up her post and got more people talking, which is often her stock in trade.

Sure, no doubt that she’s good at what she does having attained that position by virtue of hard work and resilience, it matters most that a pointy comment from one of her readers triggered by her “baby daddy” post elicited more interests than her own post inspired. Due to speculation among fans of the popular blogger, a social media user had claimed that Linda Ikeji was pregnant for Sholaye Jeremi, a close associate of Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu. He is from Sapele, Delta State.

The fan remarked: “100% confirmed. The funny thing is there was no engagement as Jeremi will not settle down although he is 40 plus. Jeremi also stays in Ikoyi. Very credible, although Linda Ikeji is trying to manage the situation but this information is 100 per cent credible. You can do your findings as well, but that’s the guy.”

Although Linda Ikeji has not revealed to the public, who the father of her child actually is, it is clear that the man who impregnated her is an Itsekiri man. The Itsekiri people are an ethnic group in Delta State, Nigeria. Linda Ikeji made the tribe of her baby known in a post to Instagram last Sunday as she shared pictures of herself and a friend.

“Mummy-to-be to a future Itsekiri big boy,” the 37-year-old captioned the post. Linda had announced her pregnancy via a post on her popular blog in May.

According to Linda, she discovered the pregnancy at the beginning of the year. “The most amazing thing has happened to me! I am going to be a mum. My greatest dream realised,” she said. Linda revealed a month ago that she was in America ahead of the delivery of her chi…

With the assertive claim by a social media user simply identified as “Nobody”, it behooves the popular blogger to justify the claim that she was not engaged to the Itsekiri man and also that she had been trying to manage the situation that the so called Sholaye would not want to settle down yet. As you read this, she just might have fully revealed who the baby father is.

Recall that Linda Ikeji had earlier in March announced her engagement on social media which set the blogosphere agog.

It was reported: “Popular Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji is officially engaged. Linda’s ex-boyfriend recently relocated to Nigeria where the lovebirds decided to rekindle their love affair.”

Sandra, Linda’s sister confirmed the good news via her Instagram handle: “Congratulations @officiallindaikeji So happy for you sweet sis! This tells me that sometimes the wait is worth it. Can’t wait to plan your special day! @eventsbysi are you readyyyyy? #it’sagetaway.”

Her sister, Laura who is also an Instagram influencer took to her own page, saying, “Congrats Linlin.” Celebrities also took to their social platform to congratulate Linda Ikeji. Among them was Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who wrote: “Congratulations to our very own Linda Ikeji for ticking one of the important boxes every woman has piled up on her list as she got engaged to her heartthrob! I can’t wait to fill my tummy up with the rice o, so don’t keep us waiting too long… We just can’t wait!!!.”

Be that as it may, could it be that she faked her engagement? Linda Ikeji has other issues trailing her, such as her position on celibacy and pregnancy outside wedlock. When she excitedly broke the news of her pregnancy, it was met with mixed reactions. Some social media users questioned her stand on celibacy, which she passionately advised young girls to practice.

Reacting to the criticisms, Linda had tweeted: “I preached celibacy to young girls because I feel that’s the right way to live until you meet someone very special that you love and who loves you and wants to be in a committed relationship with you. Passing body around and having multiple partners is not the way and I stand by it. And I’ve lived by it. But then, I turned 36 and I knew there was nothing else I wanted more than to be a mum and wife and celibacy wasn’t going to get me that! I even did a video talking about how much I wanted these two things and God has finally answered my prayers. Beyond blessed.”

The expectant mother who is in America ahead of the delivery of her son, has often addressed the issues surrounding her while relishing her pregnancy. She once used the opportunity to share a powerful message with her fans. Sitting on a bed covered with white sheets and pillows with white case, Linda was seen lounging in a relaxed manner while showing off her cute baby bump in an unbuttoned denim jacket. She remarked that she hoped that people are living their lives; that they want to live not the ones people expect. She added that people should not just exist, they should live for themselves.

Linda is one of the most popular female celebrities not only in Nigeria, but in Africa. Her rise to fame and wealth through a profession that was least known and respected in Nigeria is like a puzzle to many. So difficult to comprehend that some had resorted to attributing her success to some dubious means rather than through hard work.

A couple of years ago, Linda was just a lady with a dream and few coins in her pocket like most people around. Yet, she dared to press forward. A couple even admitted that they used to laugh at her when they see her journeying to the cafe to go and blog. Now, just about six years down the line, those that laughed at her are nobody and Linda Ikeji is a name that some of the biggest brands are proud to be associated with.

In the course of her journey, Linda Ikeji has daringly dealt with controversial posts, which include the #SaveMayowa Campaign and also about celebrities such as Funke Akindele, Richard Mofe Damijo, Djimon Honsou, Wizkid and Tonto Dikeh. She also made controversial publications about Doyin Okupe who described the publications as defamatory.

Topmost amongst celebrity personality controversies she courted was popular Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo (popularly known as RMD), who explored legal action. So, when it comes to the feedback of love or hate from the public, the celebrity blogger knows exactly where she stands.

Naturally, this should give her some cause for concern, but Linda keeps a clear head by aligning more with love: “I get a lot of hate and lots of love, but I try as much as possible to hold on to the love instead of the hate, because I know the hate is coming from a very different place. Whenever I trend and I see some vile comments, I’m like ‘you’ve never met me, why are you saying this about me’. I have grown such a thick skin. I understand when people like Wizkid and Olamide lashed out at me because I wrote about them. But if I haven’t written about you and then you make such vile comments, I understand it’s coming from a place which is not my fault. Maybe you are angry about your situation, where you are coming from, you wish you have and you didn’t. I understand because I have been there – when people are frustrated and depressed.

“I have been depressed and angry and my anger is usually towards those who are successful. When I say hostile things about them, it makes me feel better. I allow them that space to vent because really, it’s like when you go to the market, you don’t see the traders talking about non-entity, they are talking about the person who made more sales than them. I understand that success comes with a lot of hate. In fact, that’s one of the ways to know you are really successful because if you ask them why they hate you, they can’t even tell you.

Our new social networking site www.lindaikejisocial.com just got a feature on CNN. Yay! Read the article below…
Love her or not, she’s one of Africa’s most famous news and gossip writers. Now she’s hoping to take on Facebook with her very own social network, which she says hit 50,000 sign-ups on the first day.

Linda Ikeji, a former model from Lagos, Nigeria, says her social network, LIS (Linda Ikeji Social) has something others lack: a one-stop shop for everything online.

“About 30-40 million Nigerians are now online, and they go through so many sites,” Linda Ikeji told CNN.
“They go to Facebook for connecting with friends. They come to my blog to read the news. They buy and sell things and go to places like Nairaland where they exchange opinions.”
Just six days in, the network has 86,000 followers. Within the next five years, Linda Ikeji said she hopes to be the new Facebook.

“Facebook is my competition,” said the businesswoman, who is famous for her tabloid reporting, which many have criticized for promoting gossip and lacking in credibility.

In 2014 her blog came under scrutiny amidst allegations of plagiarism and unfair usage of images which led to the blogging platform Blogger, run by Google, temporarily taking her website offline.
Paying the popular

Apart from her controversial ways, she differs from Facebook in another major way, however. Her plan is to pay people who gain a lot of followers on the site.

“Once they have 50,000 followers on their page, we will automatically start monetizing it. That means we will put our client’s banners on the page and pay you a commission from what they pay us.”
The cash incentives are paid out to the so-called ‘wallet’ — a section on the network where people add their bank account details.
“Next week we are putting N20,000 ($63) each into 50 people’s wallets,” Ikeji said.

The network also plans to pay users N8,000 (around $25) for original news content.
The aim of the business is to give back to the online community.

“Being on social networking sites make the (site) owners billionaires. You being on our site will make us money, but at the same time we will share some of that money with you.”
A million dollar business

It all started 10 years ago, when she was modeling, and came across a blog post about herself. “I liked it and I wanted to start my own blog.”

Back then, blogs were more personal accounts of people’s lives, she said. “I wanted something more interesting. I wanted to do gossip and news, and I gave them something different.”
Already a celebrity, it quickly drew a lot of readers.

“It was like a celebrity blog: people knew who I was and were very interested in what I had to say.”
It seems to have worked. Today her blog has around 7 million page views per day and https://www.transtats.bts.gov is especially popular with Nigerians living abroad in countries such as China, Dubai and the U.S., according to Linda Ikeji.
“It’s the number one blog in Nigeria,” she says.

However popular and successful she claims to be, Linda Ikeji continues to be controversial.

She says the criticism is mainly down to two things: Jealousy and the usual online critique famous people often endure.
“There are people who are jealous, because they don’t understand how somebody can be so successful at something so many others are trying to do.”

Others simply don’t like what she does, but Ikeji seems unfazed.
“They may not agree with the way I do stuff.

Here are excerpts from the chat;

*********
You’ve finally launched your own streaming platform. How does this make you feel?

Seeing your dream come to reality is one of the best feelings in the world. I look at it and think to myself, “What? We finally did it.” This is something I have always wanted to do, pandora.nla.gov.au probably since I was 11. I didn’t dream this big, I dreamt of working in TV either as a producer or a presenter. I just wanted to be in the media and TV space.

So, getting to this point where I can own an online TV platform is one of the best feelings in the world. When we first launched, people bombarded our site, subscribing and hubpages.Com commenting on shows I was part of 100 percent. It’s an amazing feeling to see people finally view what we have done and Linda Ikeji commend us like this.
How many shows do you have on the platform?

So far, we have 10 reality shows and 21 TV shows. More content is on the way. What we currently have is just one percent of what we want to produce. We just wanted to launch so people can see some of what we’ve produced so far.
How long did it take to put the shows together?

We’ve been working on these shows actively since June 2017. I had to understand that I was a novice producer but I am not a novice at putting things together. As a producer, I was learning on the job. So, we made some mistakes. We hired a few people who didn’t know what they were doing and Linda Ikeji we had to bring in more professionals. We have gotten it right now. But, that’s why it took us that long to put the shows together. There are over 35 shows. One year is not a bad time to produce that amount of content.
Take us through the process of creating the platform.

Thinking about what equipment to buy and what to replace was hectic, but I fully enjoyed the creative process. I like sitting down with my producers, going through ideas, and going over scripts – I wrote some of the scripts for the shows. I came up with 90% of the titles on the platform. I always argue with my head of programming. I say, “I don’t know how to carry cameras and lights, but when it comes to ideas, I am very creative.”
How much did it cost you to set this up?

About half a billion naira. We have so many equipment – that’s how we were able to do multiple shoots. We have a lot of cameramen, presenters, sound technicians, and editors who are in-house. We have a mini jib and a fully loaded music studio. Sometimes I think to myself, ‘Did you need to go that far?’ We also have a place in Lekki Phase One that I got for two reality shows in the works. We bought eight cameras there. We have three studios right here. We have the green room here. And then, we have done reality shows with celebrities.

Wedlock piwakwa unu onu there! Hypocritical fuckers!

Excuse me dance, fuck is fuck! Whether with or without belle. Fuck is what? Fucking fuck! There is no difference between you and Linda Ikeji. Oh well! scratch that. There’s plenty of difference. Because she has lots of money to throw around, and you don’t. thank you!

And for those of you forming bride price and tradition, thunder!!!
How many of you got pregnant for your first children ‘inside’ wedlock?
How many of your current husbands are even the fathers of their first children? Since you want to break table, let’s use the right instruments na! After all, whatever is worth doing is worth doing, well.

Listen!
Linda ikeji is over forty! She did what I or any other sensible woman will do, if they turned forty and aren’t yet married.

Hell yeah! If I ain’t married at 35 sef, and I have the resources to take care of a child, I’ll get a son of man to knock me up, and put me in the family way. Yes, you heard me right! I will carry belle and take pre-delivery pictures.
My life, my choices. Kill yasef.

Again, one of the things you shouod consider before opening your sepulchers to spill worms, is that Linda Ikeji has ALL it takes to mother a child. ALLLL!!!!

She will give the lucky son of a gun the best education money can afford.
He will wear designers.
He already has a Bentley from the womb.
He won’t starve or suffer in this life. His Mother will make sure of that. Afterall, She’s equal to the task.

Unlike some of you, that will still go back to hunger and lapping or sharing your children to strangers in public transport because you can’t afford even two seats.
Some of you that will flog your children in public or tell them that too much sugar is not good for the system, because you can’t afford to buy them coldstone…
Bottom line: Shut up and face your front!

This is the word of the lord.
Thanks be to Jah.

Leading financial institution, ECOBANK Nigeria is teaming up with Africa’s foremost media entrepreneur and blogger, Linda Ikeji to host the latest edition of her popular empowerment programme, ‘Selfmade Woman Conference’.

Linda Ikeji who has been dubbed the number one blogger in Africa held the first edition of the conference in April 2017 with over 3,000 young women in attendance.

I want more women to believe in themselves, fight for their dreams, be financially independent, believe that there’s nothing they can’t accomplish. The conference is to mentor and inspire women with dreams and aspirations.”

Speaking further, Linda Ikeji said, “It seems the world is more skewed towards making a man more successful than women, or at least that’s the narrative most of our generation were given.

So, those of us who have broken through the myth have the duty to take as many other women as possible with us. We need more women to succeed. We need more women to head conglomerates. We need more women making impact.”

Linda appreciates ECOBANK for coming on board the project. ‘Having ECOBANK on board the project is so heartwarming.
