Theo Ukpaa until a few days back was a top staff at Linda Ikeji Media Organisation, in fact he was the Head of Programmes. By virtue of his position, he was a man of influence at the organisation and he was said to have been very good at his job, having hone his skill around, Linda Ikeji before pitching his tent with Linda Ikeji. But alas, under the so called cover of a hardworking, highly resourceful and passionate gentleman, supposedly hides a sinister vice, he has been accused by several of being a serial rapist!!!!

According to the story, not only has he being accused of been a rapist, Linda Ikeji but he is accused as been a repeat or serial rapist! He was recently outed by one of those he allegedly raped and in the course of that, there is the speculation that there are others too, who might also be victims and could come out soon too.

As at the time of this particular write up, “the alleged offender” is still on his honeymoon with his wife, he had gotten married just of recent. Him and his wife are on holiday, who we believe if she’s heard about the whole matter already must be thoroughly shocked to her bones by it all!!!! How can one, who only just got married, expecting to live life happily ever after atleast for the next several months, cope with this kind of terrible and shocking situation?

That’s the case Theo and his new wife would have to deal with for now. From a honeymoon, Linda Ikeji it is most likely that it might have become a bitter or sour sun already now, with this kind of allegation hanging over him.

And so in order not to be seen to be shielding the perpetrator of such dastardly offence though not yet convicted by any law, the very pregnant boss of the dude after having red the horrific ordeal of the victim, Linda Ikeji has wielded the big hammer from the USA, where she is currently counting the days to dropping her bouncing baby. We are too sure she must have felt rather bad about the whole situation, as it involved a women like her and dribbble.com Infact a young girl then, when it happened. Some had 1st raised the alarm at before, believing that Linda Ikeji might have been shielding Theo, but apparently not until after reading the heart rending tale of the serial rape as recounted by the victim, then she was compelled as a woman to act.
Linda’s statement

I personally wanted to let everyone know that Theo Ukpaa, who was Head of Programmes at Linda Ikeji TV is no longer a staff of the company. His job with my company was terminated on Monday August 27th just a day after I read the heartbreaking story of Emilia Samuel.
The general public is therefore advised not to transact any business with him in the name of Linda Ikeji TV as anyone who does it, does so at his/her own risk.
Thank you
Linda Ikeji

People are eagerly awaiting the return of the accused, to see how he would either react or deal with the unpalatable and shameful accusations and expose. If the law is brought into the situation and the allegations are proven, then Theo most definitely must be in trouble and would have to feel the full weight of the law or something.

It such a sad situation all round though. Imagine that the victim Emilia Samuel was actually 16 years old, when the offence commenced and she was compelled to out her rapist, when she saw the pictures of his wedding!!!! The lady who is now said to be married with 2 kids, must have summoned extraordinary courage to be able open up about being raped and even revealing her person for all to know.

Killer Strategies Linda Ikeji uses to make money from her Blog The media was recently awash with news of Linda Ikejis love for expensive cars. Only recently she was reported to have procured a custom Range Rover. Some people criticized her for flaunting her wealth while others praised her for reaping and enjoying the fruits of her labour. However, what her critics fail to understand or ignore is that she has been on a long road to success. She started blogging in 2006 and later started lindaikeji.blogspot.com in December 2010. Her blog is arguably the most successful blog in Nigeria. Linda Ikeji currently ranks as the 1,872nd most visited website in the world and the 15th most visited website in Nigeria. So how has she been able to turn her blog success into money? If you are new to blogging or considering a career at it, you will need to implement strategies to monetize your blog like Linda Ikeji has done. Here are 3 killer strategies that Linda Ikeji uses to make money from her blog. #1. Advertising program Displaying adverts on your blog is certainly a good money making channel. Google AdSense is the most popular one around. You should consider signing up for an AdSense account with Google to access any of Googles advertising programs like Pay-Per-Click (PPC) text, video and display options for your blog. How does AdSense Work? Google displays adverts on you blog and you get paid when someone clicks on them. However AdSense is not a get rich quick scheme. To make the best of this program your blogs search engine optimization needs to be good and you have to post quality content that people want to read. See how Google displays Ads on Linda Ikeji as highlighted in the black eclipse in the image below.

2. To start monetizing your blog, create quality content on subjects that you cover and Optimize your blog for search engines so your content can rank high. This will help Google to place relevant Ads on your blog. So consider registering for a Google AdSense account. #2. Sell your own Ad space One of the most lucrative ways to monetize your blog is to sell your own Ad space. However, you will need to have a good volume of people visiting your blog before advertisers consider placing an advert with you. But if you are new to blogging, you may want to check out BuySellAds. They are an advertising platform that link online publishers with Advertisers. They can help make selling your Ad space a lot easier. What makes this channel lucrative is that you can determine the price unlike Google AdSense that the price is determined by Google and they get to keep the larger portion. You will need to create an advert frame either on a side bar or somewhere in the middle of the body of your blog depending on your websites design. See how Linda Ikeji does hers. The Ad placed on both side of the body of the articles (one is encircled in black) and background of the blog.

3. #3. Publish paid PR and Reviews One of the good things about Linda Ikeji‘s blog is that she continually publishes content that her followers want to read. Nigerians can’t get enough of her. Hate her or love her, they keep going back to read her content. Linda Ikeji has used traffic to monetize her blog. She has constant traffic, thus she has become a goldmine for organizations and individuals looking for some PR. A friend of mine who founded Zidoff, a new player in the Nigerian eCommerce space got Linda Ikeji to do a PR post on his store; he says he was satisfied with her service. And he truly was. The effects of Linda Ikeji‘s PR post lead to backlinks for his store and considerable traffic. So if you are new at blogging, you may want to set your eyes on PR as well. Conclusion Linda Ikeji can be said to be a successful blogger and has found ways to monetize her blog but this was no get rich quick scheme. She has been at it for 9 years at lindaikeji.blogspot.com and has continually evolved her strategies. So if you are new to blogging you should learn from her strategies and how she does them. Her success factor is that she creates engaging content that her readers like to read.

4. However, the strategies which I have mentioned above are not the only ways which you can make money from your blog. Register for our newsletter and you will receive three more strategies which Linda Ikeji may not be using. I would like to know what you think.

This week on Inside Africa, CNN International heads to Lagos to meet some of the high profile and highly paid personalities that have emerged with the rise of social media. This tech savvy generation have embraced social media, which has provided opportunities for women in business like never before.

The programme meets Linda Ikeji, one of Nigeria’s biggest social media stars, to learn more about her journey to success. After starting her blog more than ten years ago, Linda Ikeji she says her success came from her determination and Linda Ikeji enthusiasm:

One of the things that drives a business to succeed is passion. It’s not about money. I’ve made money – I could move on and Linda Ikeji do some other things or leave it to my people but I’m extremely passionate about what I do and it gives me so much joy.

Linda Ikeji’s achievements have provided her with sufficient funds to start her own businesses – including owning a TV station – which are growing rapidly. She tells CNN how she wants to continue succeeding and hopes to inspire others:

I feel like I’m still climbing the ladder of success. There’s still so much I want to do… I’m hoping that my story, my life can inspire other young girls to fight for their dreams, work hard, believe in themselves, believe that there’s absolutely nothing that they cannot become…I’m hoping that my life can encourage other young girls to go out there and do the impossible, the things that people think can never happen.

Being a role model is something that’s also important to Linda Ikeji who wants to make sure she creates a legacy:

I want my life to be impactful…. I have to do something that will impact the society, impact my community, impact the world. I want people to know that I was here.

Social media has opened up a wealth of opportunities for young entrepreneurs. Travel enthusiast Chiamaka Obuekwe and her boyfriend founded a company which specializes in providing tours in parts of Nigeria that many people may have never seen before. Their business wouldn’t have been possible without social media, as she tells the programme:

80 per cent of our clients heard about us on social media…Ten years ago we would have had to go door to door sharing our fliers. We would have had to think about tactics… Now all we have to do is to put a post out on Instagram and in ten minutes people are dm’ing us… Without social media, I don’t think Social Prefect Tours would be here.

Vlogger Sisi Yemmie has a dedicated following for linda Ikeji her recipes and lifestyle content with thousands of people viewing her food demonstrations every day. She attributes her success to her honesty and openness:

When it comes to privacy I don’t have too many private moments… I base it on what I would tell my friends. If I can tell my friend this then I can definitely tell my audience this.

Sisi has won several awards and accolades, but despite her candour being part of her appeal she does have to consider the messages that she’s delivering:

It took a while for me to understand that the more popular I became I would become a role model… but I realise that responsibility comes with this platform… I am always very careful what I say. Typically, in the past I would maybe rant on Twitter, say stuff off the top of my head but now I have to think about not just my audience. I also have to have to think about brands and collaborations and when I think about things like that I am very careful about what I say and what I put out there.

Of recent I have been doing a lot of research on the digital marketing space in Nigeria and how the social media has helped brands engage with their customers and build new business frontiers. I have also been studying the big players in the social media and blogging industry trying to understand their business model and the demographics of their visitors. In the light of the above I will be sharing my discoveries on this blog from time to time.

Today, I will be teaching you how to place adverts on Linda Ikeji’s blog. Linda Ikeji is currently the richest blogger in Nigeria with a net worth of over two billion naira [yes, N2b]. And FYI, she is making more money than President Goodluck Jonathan is making “legitimately”. I will try to explain how I came up with this figure in my subsequent posts.

So Linda Ikeji’s blog is ranked the most visited blog in Nigeria and the 14th most visited website in Nigeria according to alexa.com. See the top 15 below.

I recently sent her a mail early this week to request for her advert rates and she sent me a reply few hours later with the following rates.
Leader board (Header)

– N950, 000 monthly
Sidebar ads (Top)

– N600, 000 monthly
Sidebar ads (All site wide)

– N500, 000 monthly
Sponsored posts

– N50, 000 per post
Page branding (background takeover) =
N2,000,000 monthly

You can contact her for payment details by sending a mail lindaikejiads@gmail.com or calling her phone on phone 08163941957

Advertising on her blog for a month means that about 12 million persons will see your advert. Don’t you think that will make for a good ROI?

However, based on my experience, the best way to advertise on Linda Ikeji‘s blog without a big budget is by either planting a story or by culture advertising. Culture advertising is what Lolavita hair makers do when Linda says “All my hair comes from lolavita hair”, not only is she giving their brand visibility but also authenticating the quality of their products. I see a lot of brands put up sponsored stories on Linda Ikeji and I wonder if they will actually get any ROI from those posts, the major problem they have is that they haven’t studied Linda’s audience to know the type of content they are interested in. So if you have plans of putting up a sponsored post on Linda Ikeji’s blog, hit me up so we break down the piece of news/product to sound like Linda Ikeji typically does then we get a good image and a great title to go with it.

Finally, if you think advertising on LIB is too expensive then you can try mine www.nigeriannewsportal.com . You don’t need to break the bank to do that, at least not now. Send me a mail at naijanewsportal@gmail.com.

It is normal. That is if it is true she evaded tax. What normal countries do is fine you for the tax you owe and add interest and penalties. This way others would not even dream of evading tax in the future.

Days After His Wedding, Linda Ikeji’s Staffer Theo Ukpaa Accused Of Rape

dud.edu.inLinda Ikeji is a famous blogger in Nigeria who in 2013 made it onto the list of Forbes influential bloggers which is no easy feat!

Her blog provides news, beauty tips, and celebrity gossip to her readers.

She started blogging when she was 17 years old with no background in journalism or Linda Ikeji writing experience.

Today, she has over 3 million followers on Facebook where she posts almost daily.

With so many people following her work, Linda Ikeji has been able to make a living for www.cakeresume.com herself by running the blog as well as taking advertisements from various companies.

She has been able to launch her own beauty line as well as a clothing line via print on demand.

She was also named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in 2014 and awarded an honorary doctorate from Babcock University.

Linda Ikeji continues to work hard to provide her readers with the latest posts and sc.devb.gov.hk information on entertainment news.

She has been in the spotlight for her success and achievements as an entrepreneur while being one of Nigeria’s most successful bloggers to date.

skreebee.comHer blog began when she had just finished school with no further ideas about what career path to take until she discovered blogging.
Theo Ukpaa, a staff member of Linda Ikeji, Linda Ikeji has been accused by Emilia Samuel of raping her when she was just 16 years old.

Emilia, who is now married with two children, Linda Ikeji made this revelation in an Instagram post over the weekend, Linda Ikeji where she claimed that Theo deflowered and raped her multiple times despite her pleas that he should stop.

She revealed that her path and Theo’s crossed when she made it to the top three of a spice girl competition organised by entertainment channel, Soundcity. The prize for a place among the top three was that Emilia was required to visit the office of the channel twice a week for catwalk training.

In the tell-all tale, Emilia said Theo was her trainer and during the course of the training he “kept making passes at me but I told him I was not interested. All I wanted was to work on being a model”.

The post read: “It was on the third training. He said they were making use of the studio we normally use, so we are to use another. There were people working there, so there was nothing to be worried about. We went to the new studio and started the same routine. Then he came and [grabbed] me. I told him to stop, [I’m] not like that. Next thing I knew, he had thrown me to the floor and overpowered me. All I could remember was the pain and the blood; it was everywhere. I kept shouting and shouting and screaming, but no one came. It was years later I realised that the door was soundproof cos is a studio. I never knew till I started working as a presenter. I was just 16 and naive; never had any exposure. That Spice Girl [competition] was the first time I was allowed out of the house. I did not even have a phone by then. All messages and calls were through my mum phone.

“He then came and was begging that he thought I was like other girls when I told him I was 16; that he thought it was just modelling age and [that] he [couldn’t] believe there could be a virgin anymore. I caught a cold that day and fell sick. He kept turning me around and was cleaning the blood but I was more like a dead body. [I] did not care anymore what he was doing. He got me dressed and held me at my back, leading the way out and Linda Ikeji making sure no one spoke to me. He put me in a bus home and when I got home, he had already called my mum that they got a job in the UK for me and I would be leaving for the shoot soon. He [said he would] like to speak to me as soon as I came in and Linda Ikeji he told me through the phone that I should not tell anyone what happened; that if I do, my mum would stop me from modelling and I will never get the chance of modelling ever again.”
Emilia Samuel

Emilia revealed that Theo went as far as deceiving her mother into believing that he had got a job for her in UK. According to her, all this was a ploy by Theo so she wouldn’t tell her mum.
According to her, Theo even promised her marriage.

She continued: “I was too broken to make any statement. All I could say was bye and Linda Ikeji went into my room and that was the end of me going for the training. But he kept calling my mum that there were jobs for me which she thought I went to, but never knew I used those times to go sort for ushering jobs, which I got I was able to get a phone from. Then one day, I got a call from him. I was so scared, but he begged me, [saying] he was sorry and wanted to see me face to face to apologise. I agreed to meet with him in an open place, but then again I didn’t know anywhere. I was 17 then. We agreed to meet at Ikeja cos I had a casting there. Him knowing I was still naive told me of an eatery which I never knew was closed. I got there after my casting and discovered the Mr Biggs was closed. Turning to leave I saw him at my back. He said so I just wanted to leave like that, https://dribbble.com/Desertbeet8 that he also did not know the restaurant is closed.

“[He said we should] go to another down the road. Either I was just as a fool then or I was still very naive at 17 or I just don’t know. I followed him into his car still believing we were heading to a restaurant to talk things over but no. Theo managed to fool me into his house, pushed me in as soon as I entered and raped me once more, then started crying and begging [that] it was a mistake that he can’t get enough of me. He gave me an infection from day one and kept adding to it and I never knew I was suffering from STD. There was no one close enough to tell me that and he was too wicked to even treat me. He just left me like that with it till many years later before I found out and got myself treated. Thank it did not damage my womb, neither did I get pregnant, cos I did not even know anything about getting pregnant. I was too naive and stupid. He said he wanted a relationship and that I am God-sent to him. He kept bugging my phone with calls and messages until the day I fell and did a job for him because I knew the lady he wanted me to work for and he also sent me the number of the girl who I was to work with – Sisi Oge in Ijebu Ode.

“I really thought he had changed like he claimed all went well. I and Breda were sharing the same room. Then the camera men had theirs, he had his own. The popular TV presenter of Soundcity was there so I felt at home till the night before the day we were to leave. Theo came to our door and was calling my name. I refused going as my mind starting recalling that he might want to do the same. It was 2am. Brenda saw how scared I was and asked me what the issue was. I told her I am scared of him, that he might hurt me. She was quick to understand so she said don’t worry he won’t harm you when I am here. He kept calling out my name then started banging the door. Next thing, he broke down the door and came to the bed where I and Brenda was, and dragged me out to his room. He locked the door beat me up then raped me, all the while saying no one can do anything; that he is their boss and he is paying them, and that no one can ever have me in this world till he is done with me. To cut the story short, we got back to Lagos and he started blackmailing me that he had my nudes and that he will publish it. They were actually bikini pictures I took, which then I felt were not decent coming from the home I come from, but cos he showed me [photographs of others like me who he said I had to copy] if I was to make it in the modelling industry, I went ahead and took those bikini pictures, seeing all as training I am suppose to do if I am to be a model. He said if I don’t keep seeing him, he will make them public and that was how I continued to get raped until he travelled abroad and forgot about me. I thank God right now I am married with two kids, but I know so many girls are out there who this monster, Theo Ukpaa, has done this to, but can’t voice out. Pls, beware of him ladies. And to his boss @officialindaikeji, you keep preaching about women empowerment, yet after you sacked this same guy cos of rape issues, you still employed him again and ignored complaints of numerous girls he has raped.

Yea I know that Wizkid is nice guy but he should know when to keep his cool. He doesn’t know he’s killing his image by fighting a woman in social media.

Linda on her part is also a. nice lady but these sudden riches, banana island home, designer bags etc have taken over her. She wasn’t like that when she started blogging. Blogging is way off picking on people’s private lives.

Anyway, na Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah will settle them this time.

The millionaire blogger and single mother-of-one advise young ladies to pray to God to make them rich as opposed to praying for a rich suitor.
She added that when the rich man eventually locates them, it will be a bonus.

Her post reads;

“Dear young lady, instead of praying to God for a rich man to locate you, why don’t you pray to God to make you a ‘rich man’? Because what happens if the rich man leaves? you start hustling for another one? C’mon, that’s too much stress.

And work your butt off some more to stay rich” is overrated and can lead many to depression and suicide.

Yes, no lazy person will be wealthy in life, but believe me, there are multitude of people who work much much smarter/harder than Linda Ikeji and still can’t climb up the ladder. Life no balance.

For example, Burna Boy works harder but he is certainly NOT the hardest working or the most talented artiste in Nigeria. It is debatable if he is more gifted than Adekunle Gold.

It is about a fine mixture of DESTINY, HARDWORK and GRACE, grace of opportunities, so to speak.

I dey find money, I’m always down for that work and I give it my all, but I ALWAYS make out time to be happy.

No one fully understands this life, try and be happy ooo… not everyone wants to be a millionaire…some just want low key money and money to afford their primary problems so long the happiness is there!!!

Just do what makes you happy, no die say you dey find money…
Fuk, smile, get high(choice) just 4ucking LIVE abeg…..

All this want for money, leading to oppression and depression. A contented person can never feel depressed or oppressed

That said, I get her message. Linda is encouraging women to believe in themselves and be independent financially.
